Wash Cold/Wash Full: Wash your clothes in cold rather than hot. Wash full loads to save on the amount of energy you use. Switching to an Energy Starmuch as 7,000 gallons of water per year. Use enviro-friendly detergents.
Air Dry: Skip the dryer- it uses lots of energy and emits CO2. Instead, air dry outside or inside. If using a dryer, use dryer balls to shorten drying time. Ditch the dryer sheets, they contain nasty chemicals.

I saw this on the DoneGood website and decided to try it. I wear a scarf just about every day to add pops of color and to have a backup face/head covering for whatever life throws at me. This item is better than a typical scarf because of its snaps and larger size. I have used it to wrap my head and neck when mosquitoes attacked on a hike, to cover my mouth and nose when a bad smell was in the air, and to cover my shoulders when it got chilly. The 100% organic slub cotton material is light/middle weight and eco-friendly.
