Wash Cold/Wash Full: Wash your clothes in cold rather than hot. Wash full loads to save on the amount of energy you use. Switching to an Energy Starmuch as 7,000 gallons of water per year. Use enviro-friendly detergents.
Air Dry: Skip the dryer- it uses lots of energy and emits CO2. Instead, air dry outside or inside. If using a dryer, use dryer balls to shorten drying time. Ditch the dryer sheets, they contain nasty chemicals.
Wash Less: Spot clean. It’s that simple.

I'm so glad that I got this sweater, because it is so comfortable, beautiful, and well-made! I also love that there are inner and outer pockets on it.
I'm wearing this piece right now and it's soft, comfortable, and stylishly warding off the bitter cold of a Winnipeg winter. I love that it's reversible, that it has deep pockets, that it hits mid-thigh on me (I'm 5'3"), and that the cross over ribbed cuffs give it a subtle flourish. I'm delighted to be wearing a fair trade garment that is clearly very well made and which I expect to become even cozier with age.
